Important provenance. This copy of Magnetic Observations has an important provenance as Nordenskjölds was on the Swedish scientific expedition to the Antarctic, 1901-1903 and would have had a particular interest in the results of the Discovery expedition. The volume includes an appendix comparing magnetic observations in the Antarctic and the Arctic.
